No, I have the game set up to play at Full Screen, and the box that would pop up was half that size.
On other thing. You said that VDos32 didn't need VDMSound. I thought that might be the problem, so I deleted VDMSound, and tried playing it with just VDos32. No sound. So I reinstalled it, disabled VDos32 and the game plays with sound.
