Tomb Raider and Glidos - "Start" = Nothing

I recently re-installed Tomb Raider (with the advanced installer – all according to the instructions), and I attempted to start the game with Glidos. I turned off the autoplay setting for the splash screen so that it will not come up. I click "start game" and nothing happens. There is only one CD drive on my computer, and it is occupied by the Tomb Raider CD. So I have no idea what the deal is here.
Here are a few things I noticed during my installation (if it makes any difference, I have a Windows Vista Home Premium OS). -Tomb Raider Installer did not give me the option to choose the sound configuration (I had to configure it manually). -Tomb Raider Installer did not give me the option to create a shortcut on my desktop (only the other two options were available). -I have also installed updates (courtesy of Tombraiderchronicles.com) such as patches in an attempt to elliminate this problem – but so far, nothing has changed.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!

I'd recomment using the preconfigured archive on http://www.glidos.net, rather than the advanced installer.

For 32bit Vista you need VDos32 in addition to Glidos: http://www.vdos32.com.
For 64bit Vista there's no support just now.

On Vista you will get nothing unless you use VDos32.
